It's always exciting when we win awards but knowing that this was voted on by the residents and business owners in our community makes it that much sweeter! Our reconstruction team did an amazing job matching the new stain to the previous stain within this McKinney home. Due to a mold loss a portion of the hardwood needed to be replaced, however, the previous flooring was beautiful and the customer wanted to match. After several test areas, they came up with the perfect blend and it turned out wonderful! 

SERVPRO of Flower Mound/Lewisville is a full service restoration and reconstruction company. We completed the mold remediation throughout this home in Frisco, TX and are now getting prepped for the rebuild. Materials have arrived on the job site in order to return this home to its original preloss condition. 

Corporal Christian Robertson surprised our owner retired Major John Mondy with a flag that was flown over Kandahar, Afghanistan. They folded it together and Christian presented it as he returned back to the SERVPRO of Flower Mound/Lewisville family from deployment. We are grateful he returned home safely and honored he is a part of our team once again.

We are excited to have both our Production Manager and Project Manager working towards their Mold Remediation Contractor License (MRC). They completed the 40 hour training and passed the course exam to move on to the state level exam.

One of our team members has the honor of being part of the Leadership Flower Mound Class of 2020. On October 8th they spent the day learning all about our town government and first responders. First up was a wonderful class on Leadership and what all that entails. How you can be a better you not only for your team but your family and friends as well! Second on the agenda was to visit Fire Station #4 and meet with the Assistant Police Chief as well as the Fire Chief and his pup Tiller! Next stop was to Town Hall to meet with the Town Manager and learn all about how they help the community. Final stop was the Water Treatment Facility to learn about how our town is implementing new technology to reserve energy. This was a great day spent with amazing people learning very important information about the wonderful town we live in! 

We had an awesome time at the Flower Mound Chamber Annual Clay Shoot yesterday! SERVPRO of Flower Mound sponsored our local fire and police department as well as volunteering as a puller on a station. SERVPRO of Flower Mound was honored to be called in to assist the families affected by Hurricane Harvey. Our crews were dispatched all over the Houston area in order to provide restoration services. It was amazing to see everyone coming together to help their neighbors in need.

Our customer in Flower Mound recently purchased a home and had not yet moved in. When they came to check on everything due to the freezing weather they walked in to find 3 inches of standing water throughout the entire home. As you can imagine this is not what they wanted to see in their new home.

With the freezing weather setting in throughout North Texas our franchise has seen a large amount of calls from pipes bursting.

This home had a pipe burst in the attic causing the ceiling to fall in and insulation spread throughout the majority of the home. The photo shown is from our initial onsite inspection.

Our first concern in a situation like this is safety! All debris was cleaned up to ensure there were no hazards before starting with the drying process.

Our mold remediation crew performed work not only in this closet but also in the attic. The insulation in the attic was covering a large area where the HVAC system had been leaking slowly for a while causing microbial growth on the decking. Once the remediation was complete the home was as good as new!

SERVPRO of Flower Mound was activated for storm response after Hurricane Harvey hit Texas. Hurricane Harvey was devastating for so many families, we were honored to help them with the restoration of their homes during this time. Although the water didn't reach attic level in this home you can see from the photo how high the water rose in this neighborhood. The family was without power for quite a while and a lot was lost due to the storm. It's heartbreaking to see this happen to so many families but for us it's a very humbling experience.

Family had a fire caused by a lightning strike late one evening. Luckily the entire family got out safe and nobody was harmed. It struck the guest room right next to the nursery which caused heavy soot and smoke in the nursery. This lamb was in the crib which the daughter slept with every night and was very sentimental to the family. They were very concerned as the lamb was white and with the heavy soot they didn't believe it would ever look the same. We tested the belly of the lamb to ensure there would be no staining and processed in our Esporta wash system. One of our customers started noticing a faint musty odor coming from his bathroom. Thinking there was standing water somewhere he gave SERVPRO of Flower Mound a call to come out and test for moisture. Our production technicians noticed swelling on a baseboard and once removed found microbial growth.

A home in Wylie, Tx. was affected by a large hail storm and resulted in a whole house remodel due to the damage. Although the customer was upset about the damage she was happy we were able to help walk her through the process.

When a popular restaurant in Grapevine, Texas had to shut down due to fire and water damage our crews were dispatched to restore it back to preloss condition. It required heavy soot cleanup and the customer couldn't believe how well it turned out once the job was complete.

SERVPRO of Flower Mound, TX responds to sprinkler system main burst flooding three floors at local hotel. When our crews arrived in less than 30 minutes ready to begin the restoration process the facilities manager knew he was going to be in good hands.

This is a commercial job we completed for a school district in less than thirty days just in time for the start of the school year. Generators, desiccants, and a lot of man power were needed to complete this project but no job is too big for us to handle.

SERVPRO of Flower Mound was called out to a loading dock fire in Lancaster, Texas to help restore the affected areas. There were 3 docks affected but we were able to soda blast the face and clean it up like new!

When softball size hail came ripping through Wylie, Texas the whole town was in desperate need of emergency services. SERVPRO of Flower Mound was able to get to customers within the hour to start tarping and board ups.

A high end home in Highland Village, Texas was being remodeled for a new homeowner. The chimney had improper venting and caused the home to catch fire. This photo is taken from the attic and you can see down into the master bedroom. SERVPRO of Flower Mound provided structure clean for the smoke, soft contents clean, electronics clean, and even dry ice blasted the raftors to remove the heavy soot.

SERVPRO of Flower Mound sponsored 2 holes at the 2016 Dallas Claims Association Annual Golf Tournament. The DCA has a theme contest every year and this year we had "Friday The 13th" and "Humiliation Hole". The Humiliation Hole was a lot of fun and the players got a kick out of the silly props we had for them!

A Flower Mound home caught fire when a pot was left on the stove unnoticed. Once the homeowner found it they poured baking powder everywhere to try and settle the flames. SERVPRO of Flower Mound was called to pack the home, clean the contents and structure, then return the items back to the homeowner.

SERVPRO has a commitment to the Red Cross by supporting a Disaster Responder with an emphasis on the Home Fire Preparedness Campaign. During our Annual SERVPRO Golf Tournament we were able to raise $16,000 for the Red Cross by raffle tickets, sponsorships, and donations.

The home was left for an entire year with it's doors unlocked for anyone to enter. SERVPRO of Flower Mound was called out to remove the graffiti and other remnants from the walls in order for the home to be fixed up and sold.  

An added apartment above a garage had a plumbing leak that went unnoticed for quite some time. It wasn't until the homeowner got ready to sell the home did she notice the growth and fallen drywall in the 3rd car garage. A plumbing line burst, their office was covered in water and a shop vac just wasn't going to cut it! Our technicians arrived and began extracting the water from the glued down carpet floors right away! The owner couldn't believe how fast the process went from beginning to end.

Yes, it's a long course and it's not self paced but it's required and we understand the importance of having the complete OSHA training. We require each technician to complete the course and pass to ensure they are always aware while on the job site.

During the April 2016 hail storm in Wylie, Texas a funeral home was schocked to find their business in such despair. Every single room had damage either to the ceilings or the windows. We were onsite within 30 minutes to begin removing debris and restoring their business to ensure little interruption.

Mold was found in a closet under the stiars in a home that was getting ready to list for sale. The homeowner removed the refridgerator and noticed there was water on the floor so they checked other areas only to find mold in the closet directly behind. SERVPRO of Flower Mound was able to remediate and back together before the open house that weekend.

A home in Double Oak, Tx. was struck by lightning late in the evening. After the fire sweltered in the attic for quite a while it then began to affect the upstairs rooms before the family became aware. Altough the family made it out unharmed, the entire house was affected. SERVPRO of Flower Mound Project Managers were onsite every day to help the customer through the process and honestly counsel them through this schocking experience.

A commercial unit in Richardson, Texas was being remodeled for a new tenant. A pipe burst causing not only that unit to flood but also the unit adjacent to it. SERVPRO of Flower Mound arrived onsite as they customers were frantically trying to remove the water. Our crews were able to help both customers dry out their units and get back to business in no time.

With any biohazard job you always need to ensure you are properly disposing of the contaminated items. These items pictured below were contaminated with feces and would not be salvageable. They were double wrapped in 6 mil and secured shut.

When the clay shoot was over and they tallied for the winner we had a slingshot competition that was quite a show! CoSERVPROvided everyone with a little slingshot in order to play with 5 rounds to try, whoever knocked them over would win the ultimate slingshot with handgrips and all.

SERVPRO of Flower Mound responded quickly to a water damage in Wylie, Tx. at an intermediate school. There was a heavy wind rain storm on Sunday morning causing water to enter in through the roof/ceiling. It was no problem for our production technicians! They immediately began extracting water and setting up drying equipment in order to get the school back to pre loss condition as quickly as possible!
